3 Tasy Eats in Lima
Lima has an enormous amount of delicious restaurants to choose from, but we believe that there are a few places that stand out from the crowd. When visiting these popular spots you can expect a full dining room or even a line out the door, but trust us it will be worth the wait! Each spot is only a 15 minute taxi ride from Pariwana, buen provecho!

Juanito de Barranco
This place takes the fame for being the first bar in the Barranco district. Don't expect any fancy decor, but do expect to meet the original owners of the place! They serve Pilsen on draft and cure their own ham. Grab a cold beer and a freshly made sandwich and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. On the weekends, they host local live music.

Antigua Taberna Queirolo
Another restaurant that has been a local favorite for many years. We recommend coming here when you're thirsty for some local pisco. Queirolo has their own vineyard outside of Lima in the Pisco region. You can purchase a full or half liter of pisco which comes with ginger ale, simple syrup and bitters. Make your own chilicanos and order up some chicharrón de pescado (battered fried fish) or cerdo (fried pork). We loved their breakfast roulette plate! Come before noon for breakfast options. Do some people watching as you enjoy some Peruvian classics.

Siete Sopas
When isn't soup a good idea?! This place is open 24/7 so soup is always an option. As the name suggests each day offers a different soup. There are also two house soups served everyday; chicken soup and criolla. A creamy yellow base with noodles meat and a poached egg. Everything else coming out of the open kitchen looks delicious. Each soup is served with house made bread. Be warned there is ALWAYS a line out front, but there is a good reason for it!
